Last But Not Least

This is the last shot, from the last set, to be processed from my shoot in Prague in December 2015. Finally, in January 2017! Still, I have more than half of last August's Prague trip to process, and even some sets from Deena's pregnancy project from summer 2015 to do! What a backlog! Anyway, I thought this was a bit of a milestone :)

That's How To Celebrate Christmas, In The Sun

Yes, definitely how to spend Christmas. Karlie doesn't like having her photo taken without her makeup, so here's a picture of part of her which doesn't require warpaint! If you have to put up with Christmas, it might as well be on a beach in blazing sunshine at about 90C, with a friend who looks like this.

Some of you may have noticed that there aren't a lot of shoots scheduled. This is related to an old blog post, the one about the house in Costa Rica :( I'm now in the reconstruction phase, I'll be visiting soon, and for now my money is dedicated to that... I'll be back shooting more in about May I think. Don't worry, there is loads of material already shot in the pipeline!

I've Never Really Liked Christmas

Well, it's for families and children and stuff, and my family, such as it is, is on the other side of the world. My friend Karlie (yes, that one!) isn't a big fan either, and she's recovering from a bout of cancer. Soooo, we're off to the sun for Christmas! Not saying where, for obvious reasons. I've decided to simplify things by putting up all the updates up to Christmas nice and early for you.... Happy Christmas :)

Another Shoot With Alison

I had another lovely shoot with Ali;))) Sadly, her life never seems to run in a straight line, and she has to move back to the U.S. soon. I hope to fit in a final shoot before she goes, then I will have enough material for at least a couple of years!

That Wasn't The Best Weekend Of My Life!

The event I went to see wasn't that great, Clementine and her friend weren't able to make the planned shoot, and then this ======>

It's a long story, but I own a property in Costa Rica which an old friend lives in (she is one of the girls I recently mentioned had cancer). Well, the first hurricane in history hit Costa Rica and wiped the house out. It will take a lot of time, effort, and money to rebuild...

Turin For The Weekend

Another Travel Advisory

Off to Lima to see Su again :)))))) I will be back next Monday. As usual, updates might be at unusual times, but I will keep an eye on everything. I hope to have time to shoot Rosa, and possibly one or two of her Suicide Girl friends :)

And Some Good News

Here's a picture from the shoot with Alison Wonderland a few weeks ago. I've just processed the set today. It's great to see her again, and she seems to be a lot happier now, and her health is coming back. I hope to see her again before Christmas :)

Doesn't Always Work

The shoot on Saturday was a bit of a disaster. Not the model's fault, she was fine. The studio was dark and dingey, the lights were cheap, the modelling lights didn't work properly, they had one small softbox and no reflectors. On top of that, the owners were drunk, the wife got in a strop when I asked her to fix the lights rather than make a cup of tea and the husband came over all cave-man on me. I stuck it out, but the pictures aren't very good as the lighting was so bad and I just wanted to get out of the place. I can probably photoshop them and make something reasonable, but it will take a huge effort. I have 300 sets to process which give me good memories so I don't know whether I'll ever get around to doing these!

Well, It's Been A Difficult Week

Two good friends of mine have been diagnosed with cancer, women half my age. It makes you realise how fragile the human body is. I wish them both all the best.

A Wild Weekend

I've just come back from a day at the Salon Erotico in Barcelona. I flew out yesterday morning, and the show finished so late I didn't bother with a hotel, just stayed up all night and flew back this morning! I've been up 35 hours straight. My intention was to take a break in October, and not travel or shoot - I've had a few health issues and have over done with the money recently :) Apart from shooting Alison Wonderland last Sunday, Rana and Erika Monday, the trip to Barcelona, Belgrade next week where I'm shooting 2 models, and possibly Red Snow, Luna and Roze later in the month I've managed not to do anything!

Questionaire, Sort Of

There has been a large increase in membership over the last couple of months! Thanks :))) The server seems to be coping with the extra load, so it's all good. I'm kind of interested in what has prompted it - I have done the usual advertising, but nothing special recently. So... if you've recently joined for a specific reason (a particular photo set, or model, whatever), please tell me on artcore-cafe (at) outlook.com - I'll try to provide more of it!

Alison Wonderland is back! Yay! She had to go back to the USA a year or so ago for personal reasons. She emailed me yesterday to say she's back in London. She's one of my favourite models, and one of my favourite people. I can't wait to catch up with her, and to shoot her again.

Back Home For A While

I was away for three consecutive weekends there, in three different countries! Here's Miele Rancido and Red Snow, I had a cool shoot with them in Bergamo (although the outdoor part of the shoot didn't go so well!). I have an unexpected shoot with a gorgeous model called Yuki tomorrow, and of course Tomoko on Monday :)

Back Home

A crazy few days of last minute cancellations, last minute new models, hotels not honouring bookings, outrageous currency fluctuations, and another broken light... but, I have a load of material for the next few months, and some more contacts. I arrived home at 2am this morning, and I'm going to Budapest tomorrow afternoon (for a different bit of business!). This is Celeste, gorgeous, isn't she :)

Off To Prague Again

Right, I'm off to Prague straight after work. As I won't be taking the website laptop, I've put up the next two updates early. I have something like 12 different models to shoot over the next few days, including 8 new girls. A major investment of time and money!

And A Child Is Born

So, I was supposed to shoot Ashleigh tomorrow, the last of our pregnancy shoots. We knew we were cutting it a bit fine, but we weren't able to get together the last few weeks. I just got a message from her, she went into labour this morning! Well, as excuses for cancellations go, it's a good one! Best of luck, Ashleigh. I hope to shoot you again soon :)

Payment Processing Issue

A member contacted me to say that he was unable to access the site. I checked, and found that for a few days the renewal notifications hadn't reached the site correctly from Zombaio. I have manually renewed all affected members (except one from Spain who seems to have used a completely different email address on this site to the one Zombaio has - please contact me on artcore-cafe (at) outlook.com and I will sort it out). It looks like the renewals for the last 2 days went through correctly, so lets hope the problem is over!
